Who we are
This policy explains how Agdoltr Productions (OPC) Private Limited ("Agdoltr", "we", "us") handles personal data. We are a One Person Company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U59111JH2025OPC024231), with our registered office at Radhe Krishna Awas, L N Mishra Colony, Hehal, Ranchi 834005, Jharkhand, India (MSME Udyam: UDYAM-JH-20-0147987). Phone: +91 80922 19555. Email: business@agdoltr.com. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, we are the Data Fiduciary for the data described here.
It covers three things: our website at agdoltr.com, Slate (our invite-only production platform at slate.agdoltr.com), and our artist platform at app.agdoltr.com. If something here is unclear, write to us at business@agdoltr.com. We are happy to explain.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to reply to you, run our services and keep them secure.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Scripts, briefs and delivery packs you upload to Slate are stored privately and are never public.
- You can ask us to see, correct or erase your data, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to act for you, subject to legal retention requirements.
1. Our website (agdoltr.com)
What we collect. When you use our contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email, phone (optional), company, the service you are interested in, a budget range (optional) and your message. If you email, call or WhatsApp us, we receive your message and your contact details on that channel.
Why, and on what basis. Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and keep a record of our conversation. By submitting the form you voluntarily give us this data for that purpose, which the DPDP Act treats as a legitimate use (section 7(a)). You can ask us to stop using it at any time.
How it works. Contact form messages are delivered to our business email inbox. To stop spam and abuse, our server briefly keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent in a short time. We do not keep your raw IP address for this.
Analytics. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels or similar trackers of our own. Our website does not use any visitor tracking or analytics script, and it sets no cookies. Like any web server, our host also keeps standard access logs, which include your full IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and operation.
Third-party links. Our site links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn and YouTube. When you use those services, their own privacy policies apply.
2. Slate (slate.agdoltr.com)
Slate is an invite-only platform that helps production houses move from pitch to concept to pre-production. Only people we, or an owner of a workspace, invite can use it.
What we collect.
- Account details: your email address, name and the workspace you belong to, plus invitations sent to you.
- Sign-in codes: we email you a one-time code to sign in. Codes are short-lived and only sent to invited or existing members.
- Your content: scripts, briefs, notes, a production house's handbook, and the analysis, estimates and delivery packs Slate creates from them.
- Personal data inside your content: scripts and briefs may name cast, crew or other people, including children. The workspace that uploads this content is responsible for having the right to share it with us, and we process it only to provide Slate to that workspace.
- Security and usage records: sign-in times, IP-based rate limits and basic logs needed to keep Slate safe and working.
How we store it. Your content is kept in private storage with our infrastructure provider (Supabase). Files are never public. When you open or download one, Slate creates a private link that expires within minutes. Access is limited to members of your workspace and to the limited Agdoltr staff who need it for support, security or legal compliance.
AI processing. To produce analysis and estimates, Slate sends the relevant text (your brief, script text and your house handbook) to Anthropic, PBC (the Claude API) through its commercial API. Anthropic processes it only to return a result to us. Under Anthropic's current commercial terms, it does not use inputs or outputs from its API to train its models by default (Is my data used for model training?; Commercial Terms). Anthropic automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, unless longer retention is needed to enforce its Usage Policy (up to 2 years for flagged content) or required by law (How long do you store my organization's data?). We do not send feedback to Anthropic that would allow training. Slate does not use your content to train AI models either.
Why, and on what basis. Your account details are provided by you or your workspace for this purpose. We use them, and your content, to provide Slate to you: sign-in, analysis, estimates, delivery packs and support, and to keep the service secure.
Billing. Slate is billed by GST invoice and paid by bank transfer or UPI. We keep invoice and payment records as required by Indian tax and company law (see section 6). We do not collect or store card details.
3. Our artist platform (app.agdoltr.com)
We run an artist platform for artists and creators who work with us. There, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email, phone, WhatsApp preference, city, languages, voice types and styles, accents, gender, age range, experience, studio, availability, bio and work samples, and the projects you take part in. We use them to manage collaborations, contact you about work and process payments.
Payment and tax details. The artist platform does not ask for or store your bank account, UPI ID or PAN. It records the payouts we make to you: the amount, any tax deducted at source (TDS), the payment date and a payment reference. We pay by bank transfer or UPI from our company account, without a payment processor. If you give us bank, UPI, PAN or GSTIN details separately (for example by email or on an invoice) so that we can pay you, we use them only with your consent and only to make payments, deduct and report TDS, and record invoices. Bank and other financial details are "sensitive personal data or information" under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, so we restrict access to the people who process payments, and share them only with our bank and the tax authorities as required by law. We keep payment and tax records for the periods in section 6.
The same storage, security and rights described in this policy apply.
4. Google user data (Google Drive)
Slate and our apps can save files to your Google Drive, but only if you choose to connect it.
What we request. In Drive, we request only the Google Drive drive.file permission. This lets our app create files and see only the files it created or that you chose to open with it. We cannot see, read or change anything else in your Drive. Slate requests drive.file alone. Our artist platform also requests Google's basic sign-in permissions (openid, email and profile), so it can show which account is connected. We store the email address (and, on the artist platform, the display name) of the connected Google account so you can see which account is linked.
How we use it. Only to save the files you choose (such as a Slate delivery pack PDF, saved to a "Slate delivery packs" folder) into your Drive. Access tokens are stored encrypted on our server. We do not share Google user data with third parties, except our infrastructure provider (Supabase) which stores the encrypted tokens on our behalf, or where required by law.
Limited Use. Agdoltr's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing Drive-saving feature in our app.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use or transfer Google user data for advertising, including personalised or retargeted ads.
- We do not use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine learning models, and we do not send it to AI providers.
- No person at Agdoltr reads your Google user data unless you give us your permission for specific data (for example, for support), it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is needed to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.
How to disconnect. You can remove access at any time: click Disconnect next to Google Drive in Slate, or go to your Google Account permissions and remove our app. When you disconnect, we ask Google to revoke our access and delete the stored tokens. Files already saved stay in your Drive and remain yours.
5. Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers (Data Processors) who help us run our services, under contract and only for that purpose:
- Hosting and website: GoDaddy (agdoltr.com).
- Database, storage and servers: Supabase (Slate and our artist platform).
- Email: Google Workspace (our business email and sign-in code emails).
- AI processing: Anthropic, PBC (Claude API), for Slate analysis and estimates.
- Payments: our bank, for artist payouts. We do not use a payment processor.
- Google Drive: only when you connect it yourself.
Transfers outside India. Some of these providers store or process data outside India. Supabase stores Slate and artist platform data in India, in its Mumbai region (AWS ap-south-1), although Supabase may operate some services, such as its logging, from other countries. Google and Anthropic may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. The DPDP Act permits such transfers except to countries the Government of India restricts, and we will follow any such restriction and any requirements the Government sets under the DPDP Rules, 2025. We require these providers by contract to protect personal data with reasonable security safeguards.
We may also disclose data if Indian law, a court or a government authority requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last conversation, unless we start working together.
- Slate and artist platform accounts: while your account or workspace is active. When you ask us to erase it, or a workspace is closed, we delete your content within 30 days, and any copy in backups is removed within a further 90 days, except data we must keep by law (below).
- Sign-in codes: they expire within minutes and are not kept after use.
- Invoices, payment and tax records (including artist payment details used in them): for at least 8 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, or longer if a tax assessment, audit or dispute is pending.
- Security and access logs: for at least 1 year, then deleted, unless the law requires longer or they are needed to investigate an incident.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Access: ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, how we use it, and who we have shared it with (section 11).
- Correct, complete and update: ask us to fix data that is wrong, incomplete or out of date (section 12).
- Erase: ask us to erase your data once it is no longer needed, unless we must keep it by law (section 12).
- Withdraw consent: stop us using data that is based on your consent, as easily as you gave it. This won't affect what we did before you withdrew it (section 6(4)).
- Nominate: name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act because of unsoundness of mind or infirmity of body (section 14). To nominate someone, email us with their name and contact details.
- Raise a grievance: complain to us first (section 13). If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India (section 13(3)).
How to make a request. Email business@agdoltr.com with your name, the service you use (website, Slate or artist platform) and what you want us to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and respond within 30 days. In all cases we will resolve grievances within 90 days at most, as the DPDP Rules, 2025 require.
Consent Managers. You may also give, manage or withdraw consent through a Consent Manager registered with the Data Protection Board of India, once such services are available and where we support them.
8. Grievance Officer
Aditya Kashyap, Grievance Officer
Agdoltr Productions (OPC) Private Limited

This person also answers questions about how we process your personal data (DPDP Rules, 2025, rule 9).
9. Children
Our website, Slate and artist platform are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not track, behaviourally monitor or target advertising at children. If a child (for example, a child actor) is part of a project we produce or work on, we collect and use their personal data only with the verifiable consent of their parent or lawful guardian, obtained through the production house or directly by us, and only for that project. Where a child's name or details appear in a script or brief uploaded to Slate by a client, the client is responsible for having that consent. If you think we hold a child's data without that consent, tell us and we will erase it.
10. Security
We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), private storage, short-lived download links, encrypted access tokens, strict invite-only access, sign-in rate limits, access controls on our database, and logging. No system is perfectly secure.
If there is a data breach. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you without delay, in plain language, what happened, the likely consequences, what we are doing about it, the steps you can take to protect yourself, and how to contact us. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India without delay and send a detailed report within 72 hours (or any longer period the Board allows), and report cyber security incidents to CERT-In within 6 hours as required.
11. Cookies and similar technology
Our website (agdoltr.com) does not set any cookies, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Slate does not use cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember your account details on that device, and remember light or dark mode. These are needed for Slate to work, and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell Slate and artist platform users by email, and where the law requires, ask for your consent again.
